GEA Procomac Packaging designs and manufactures a wide range of depalletising and palletising robots for any application. The heart of the system is a Fanuc anthropomorphic industrial robot, which can be integrated with different ancillary equipment:
- loading and deposit bays: for rows, layers, bulk transfer;
- gripping heads: for crates, cartons, bottles, shrink-wraps;
- accessories: layerpad stores, pallet stores, case compacting units;
- advanced line automation.
GEA Procomac depalletising and palletising robots are especially suitable for low and medium speed lines as they allow:
- simultaneous palletisation from multiple lines;
- simultaneous palletisation of packages of
different types and dimensions;
- fast format changeover by selecting a different operating programme; fast gripper changeover systems are also available;
- dramatic reduction of required installation space;
- possibility of expansion for a future production increase and/or system re-converting for different uses;
- a long-term value of investment.
PRINCEPS gantry robot
The Princeps gantry robots have been designed to meet low production speeds and special palletising configurations.
The key feature of the portal type systems is that they have a smaller gripper as compared to the item loaded.
This is why they are suitable for PAL BOX appli-cations, where the load is deposited introducing the gripper in pre-formed, tight and tall containers.
