GEA Procomac Packaging has presented at drinktec 2009 exhibition
in Munich its pack manipulating system.
This system allows preparation of a
whole layer of products, according to a pre-defined pattern, by means of pack
gripping heads which move and/or rotate packs to their required position,
without shocks or hitting against fixed rotating tools.
The systems has a
continuous working mode, without any interruption between each layer
preparation, thus allowing optimization of the speed capacity of the downstream
palletising systems.
The Polaris is a modular system which can be installed
as a single unit (for medium speed lines) or in series (for high speed lines
and/or complex palletizing patterns).
